Teriyaki Tofu
I don't know about you, but I was never a big fan of tofu. I found it tasteless, chewy and just not my kind of food. Recently, I realised it actually doesn't have any taste of its own. That’s why it's easy to use in cooking and even baking.
I will share some vegan bake recipes using tofu soon. This tofu recipe is so flavourful, delicious and easy to make. It is really great comfort food and has become our once a week go-to dinner. Baked to golden brown and tossed in teriyaki sauce!
Teriyaki is a super flavorful glaze with a subtle sweetness and complementary flavours of sesame, soy sauce, rice vinegar and garlic.
Freshly baked teriyaki tofu over a bed of sticky rice is just super easy and super yum. I like to add some stir fry veggies just to get more veggies in our bodies.
The strong delicious flavors are what you need after a long day! You really need just a few ingredients to make a high-protein and low- fat meal with all the flavours you want. Are you ready to make some yummy Teriyaki Tofu?!
